Sulaiman Al Rajhi University signed a memorandum of understanding under the direct supervision of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education for Educational Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Ohali with the University of and then was crowned the signing of the academic partnership with the University of Maastricht, which is one of the most distinguished European universities in the field of medical education in particular and higher education in general.

Faculty of Medicine at the University of Maastricht, the first to introduce the system of medical education in Europe in a way (Problem Based Learning) P. B. L compatible with the orientation of the Steering Committee of the University of Al Rajhi group of civil work and the recommendations of the corresponding qualifications of other institutions.
